1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and PawLife ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the PawLife mobile application and website. By accessing the App, you agree that you have read, understood, and accept all of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Important)

PawLife is a tool for tracking and management, NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

The App may provide feeding suggestions, weight tracking, or health logs, but these are for informational purposes only. Always seek the advice of your veterinarian with any questions you may have regarding your pet's medical condition, diet, or health. Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this App.

3. Notifications & Reminders (Critical)

PawLife utilizes push notifications for feeding reminders, medication alerts, and appointment prompts. We cannot guarantee the delivery of every notification due to factors outside our control, such as:

Device battery optimization settings (which may kill background processes)
"Do Not Disturb" or "Focus" modes enabled on your device
No internet connection or server outages

You agree that you are solely responsible for your pet's care and schedule. Do not rely exclusively on the App for critical medication or health needs.

4. Location Services & Battery

PawLife uses background location tracking to map your dog walks. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. We are not responsible for data charges or battery drainage incurred while using this feature.

5. User Accounts

Registration: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
Household Sharing: If you invite others to your "Household," you grant them access to view and modify the pet data within that Household. We are not responsible for actions taken by members you voluntarily invite.

6. User Generated Content

The App allows you to upload photos, notes, and other data ("User Content").

Ownership: You retain ownership of your content.
License: By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and store said content solely for the purpose of operating the App (e.g., displaying your pet's photo to you).
Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

7. App Store & Google Play Terms

The App availability is dependent on the third-party stores from which you download the App. You agree to comply with, and your license to use the App is conditioned upon your compliance with, all applicable third-party terms of agreement (e.g., Apple App Store Services Terms of Service, Google Play Terms of Service) when using the App.

8. Subscription & Billing

If you purchase a subscription (e.g., PawLife Premium), payment will be charged to your iTunes or Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Account Settings after purchase.

9. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawLife shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
